Water Meter Inspector Terry Roussel will be off of work for an undetermined period of
time. Finance Director Ken TeKippe has asked if part time Water Meter Serviceworker I
Jeff Mills could work additional hours. In order for Jeff to work additional hours, we will
need to amend the collective bargaining agreement with the International Union of
Operating Engineers, Local #234.
I have attached an amendment to the collective bargaining agreement that will permit
part time Water Meter Serviceworker I Jeff Mills to work 1,664 or more hours in calendar
year 2013 and remain a part time employee and continue to receive the benefits that
are provided to part time employees.
The requested action is for the City Council to approve a motion authorizing you to sign
the amendment.
