The Honorable Mayor and City Council Members of Dubuque,
The members of Immanuel Congregational United Church of Christ and St. Matthew
Lutheran Church want to thank the city for the beautiful new alley that runs from 17th to
18th streets between White and Jackson streets. This change has done much to
improve the appearance of our neighborhood.
In celebration of this improvement the two churches are holding a "Rally in the Alley"
with a blessing of the alley and a joint coffee hour on Sunday, July 7. St. Matthew has
worship at 9 a.m. and Immanuel has worship at 10:30 a.m. We will be sharing
fellowship between 10 and 10:30 a.m., between the services.
We invite all of you to come celebrate with us as we celebrate this huge improvement to
the neighborhood.
