We were warmly received by you and the other friends during our visit to
Dubuque last June. On behalf of Mr. Zhang Li, head of the delegation, and other
members of the delegation, I would like to express our sincere thanks to you and the
other friends in Dubuque. Though our visit was quite short.. what we experienced
there has left us deep and wonderful impression. Quiet and peaceful environment,
clean and tidy city, the picturesque Mississippi River....... What is most unforgettable.
in particular. is the warmness and hospitality of your people as well as your
considerate arrangement made for our visit.
It is over 10 years since the establishment of the sister city relations between
Handan and Dubuque. I hope that this visit will become a new beginning of our
friendly relations. We are greatly interested in continuing the existing relations to
promote the cooperation and exchanges in all fields. which will certainly benefit the
peoples of our two cities.
We warmly welcome you and the other friends from Dubuque to visit Handan at
