Matt Zmudka, 1834 North Court and a student at Hempstead High School, spoke in opposition to the proposed district, stating the homeowners knew they would have parking problems living next to a school and establisl:ling the district would push the problem to other streets. Sydney Smith, Hemp- stead Student Council President, spoke in oppo- sition to the proposed Residential Parking Permit District stating it was unfair to students as it made them walk further.
