This is a claim in which the claimant alleges that the City of Dubuque Engineering and
Public Works Departments failed to locate the correct sewer main serving claimant's
business establishment. The sewer main contained an obstruction which resulted in raw
sewage backing up into the basement of this property.
This claim has been referred to Public Entity Risk Services of Iowa, the agent for the Iowa
Communities Assurance Pool.
