The corporate market and SMERF market have provided the best results in our targeted efforts into attracting new meetings. These markets are booking shorter term than they have in previous years. Currently Grand River Center has 50 more meetings on the books for 2014 compared to the same time last year for 2013, most of which are in the corporate and SMERF markets. We believe 2014 will see a continued increase in short term bookings and continue to outpace 2013 as the economy continues to improve. • National Holstein Convention, June 22 -28, 2014 — Grand River Center, along with local hotels and the Five Flags Center, will host the National Holstein Convention. We anticipate the convention to bring in over 1,700 room nights to Dubuque. The convention is their annual meeting and cattle auction. Attendance is anywhere from 500 to 1000 people at any given time.
