CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION

1. Establish Passing Score for the Position of Firefighter
Randy Ricke talked on behalf of the Fire Chief requesting that the lower score of 70%
be established as the passing point for the test to allow the Fire Department additional
candidates to choose from. Commissioner Kluesner moved that the passing point for
the position of Firefighter be established at 70 percent and recommended that the list
be good for one year. Seconded by Wertzberger, passed unanimously.
2. Establish Passing Score for the Position of Account Clerk
Motion by Wertzberger to receive and file the communications and to establish the
passing point for the position of Account Clerk at 76 and above. Seconded by
Kluesner, passed unanimously. Motion by Commissioner Duehr to certify list as read.
Seconded by Kluesner, passed unanimously.
Commissioner Duehr asked that the communication from City Attorney Barry Lindahl be
placed on the next Civil Service meeting for discussion.
There being no further business, upon motion the meeting adjourned at 11 :20 a.m.
