SUBJECT: Council Chambers
The renovation of the Federal Building will include the relocation of the City Council
Chambers to the former court room. I would like to request City Council representation
on a committee that will deal with the specific design criteria for the Council chambers.
My intent is to have several staff members serve on the committee including City
Attorney Barry Lindahl, City Clerk Jeanne Schneider, Project Manager Steve Brown,
Public Information Officer Randy Gehl, Video Production Assistant Doug McCallum, Fire
Chief Dan Brown, Police Chief Kim Wadding, Building Services Manager Rich Russell,
Housing and Community Development Director David Harris, and me.
I would ask that Mayor Roy Buol and two City Council Members serve on this particular
committee. The committee will make no final decisions. Those will be made by the full
City Council.
