SUBJECT: 409 Burch Street
The owner of 409 Burch Street, John White, has made improvements to his property
over the last several months. However, lately progress has slowed significantly.
I respectfully recommend that this item be tabled until November 6, 2006, to allow time
for City staff to visit with Mr. White to help determine a course of action for the City.

John White has been released back to work and has been focusing on the exterior:
Getting the stonework finished, he hauled in a few tons of dirt to grade the side and
back yards and driveways. They plan to lay sod in the next couple of weeks.
According to the time schedule submitted to you by John White on Sept. 7, 2006, John
stated that he would complete the remaining work according to his proposed schedule.
1. Final installation of exterior door and last 2 windows would be completed by 9-
25-06.
This has !l2l been completed.
2. Final installation of exterior roof, trim, soffit treatment and copper gutters by 10-
02-2006.
This has !l2l been completed.
3. Final installation of exterior rails and other porch decorations by October 23,
2006.
This has not been completed.
4. Final grading of driveway and installation of concrete curb and drive. Installation
of decorative limestone retaining walls on the south side of the property by
November 6, 2006.
This is partially underway at this time.
