Re: Human Rights Commission - Resignation
Dear Mayor Buol and City Council Members:
I want to inform you that a Human Rights Commissioner, Mary Gassman,
has resigned her commission.
Mary Gassman replied to me bye-mail that she would no longer be able
to serve as a commissioner. Mary has had a change in employment that does
not allow her the time in her schedule to serve. I forwarded that e-mail to Kelly
Larson. Mary's term expires in January 2009.
It is my hope that the City Counsel will consider replacing Mary as soon as
possible.
