HONORABLE ROY D. BUOL, MAYOR
CITY OF DUBUQUE
50 W. 13th St., Second Floor
Dubuque, IA 52001
Dear Mayor Buol:
RECEIVED
13 OCT °2 PM 1 :23
City Clerk's Office
Dubuque, IA
I am writing to inform you of the status of the City of Dubuque's application for Clean Water State
Revolving Fund (CWSRF) financing for the Upper Bee Branch Creek Restoration project. We have
received the revised application, with an estimated loan request amount of $28,823,000. The requested
amount has been updated on the CWSRF project priority list.
There is no maximum loan amount and the CWSRF is able to fund all eligible projects. The costs eligible
for CWSRF financing for the Upper Bee Branch will be limited to the water quality components of the
project. The application amount is just an estimate until the project plans and specifications have been
reviewed and approved and construction costs are determined through the bidding process.
The Upper Bee Branch application has been identified for loan forgiveness pending its qualification as a
Green Infrastructure project, which will be determined through review of plans and specifications. The
amount of loan forgiveness is anticipated to be approximately $4.4 million.
We look forward to working with the City of Dubuque to move this project forward. Please let me know
if you need any additional information from me.
Sincerely,
Patricia Cale- Finnegan, `SRF Coordinator
