BUOL, MAYOR CITY OF DUBUQUE 50 W. 13th St., Second Floor Dubuque, IA 52001 Dear Mayor Buol: RECEIVED 13 OCT °2 PM 1 :23 City Clerk's Office Dubuque, IA I am writing to inform you of the status of the City of Dubuque's application for Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) financing for the Upper Bee Branch Creek Restoration project. We have received the revised application, with an estimated loan request amount of $28,823,000. The requested amount has been updated on the CWSRF project priority list. There is no maximum loan amount and the CWSRF is able to fund all eligible projects. The costs eligible for CWSRF financing for the Upper Bee Branch will be limited to the water quality components of the project. The application amount is just an estimate until the project plans and specifications have been reviewed and approved and construction costs are determined through the bidding process. The Upper Bee Branch application has been identified for loan forgiveness pending its qualification as a Green Infrastructure project, which will be determined through review of plans and specifications. The amount of loan forgiveness is anticipated to be approximately $4.4 million. We look forward to working with the City of Dubuque to move this project forward.
