The IDED has completed its review of the audit report(s) for the fiscal years relating to the above
referenced agreement. As a result of our review, we have concluded that the program has been
administered in substantial compliance with financial and program requirements.
When the audit has been paid for, your program will have been completed to the satisfaction of the
IDED. You should be aware, however, that recipient records and audit reports (such as the Dubuque
Housing Services's) may be reviewed as part of U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development
(HUD) monitoring of the State's program, and the State Auditor's Office annual audit of the IDED, either
of which could result in findings or conclusions that differ from those of your auditor or of the IDED.
With this in mind, please follow the record retention requirements described in the contract general
provisions and management guide.
