Attachments . rHEC1TYOF ~ DUB E ~~~ MEMORANDUM October 30, 2006 To: Don Vogt, Public Works Director From: John Klostermann, Street/Sewer Maintenance Supervisor ~ L Subject: Floodwalllmprovement Projects - Change Order # 2 Introduction The purpose of this memorandum is to request your approval to change order #2 for the Floodwalllmprovement Projects. Discussion Change order # 2 is for work associated with the retaining wall footing located at the Bee Branch Floodwall Pumping Station. While excavating for the retaining wall footing at the Bee Branch Pumping Station it was necessary to enlarge the designed footing to protect the existing concrete wall. The change order also reflects extra cost to the contractor to jackhammer out poured concrete to expose the existing electrical conduit not located on the plans. I have reviewed the change order as submitted with Charles Cate of IIW and we both feel that the change order is fair and just. Action Required I am requesting that you review change order #2 and recommend payment. .
