Van Milligen City Manager DATE: November 1, 2006 RE: Installation of Traffic Regulation Signs From time to time we find that there is no ordinance authorizing the placement of certain traffic regulation signs around the city. Most recently, the "No Parking" signs in the alley behind Hartig Drug on Locust Street brought our attention to this matter. To cover all possible situations, Assistant City Attorney Crenna Brumwell has drafted the enclosed ordinance authorizing the City Manager to place signs consistent with Chapter 32 of the Code of Ordinances which is the traffic chapter. cc: Crenna Brumwell, Assistant City Attorney Preparer: Crenna M.
