LTD.
This lawsuit was filed on behalf of Plaintiffs Ellyn Bechen and others against the City of
Dubuque and Dubuque Racing Association, LTD. (DRA), for personal injuries sustained
by the Plaintiffs when Ellyn Bechen, a Mystique Casino patron, was allegedly injured
when she approached the main entrance to the Casino.
Pursuant to an Indemnity Agreement in the Lease between the City of Dubuque and
DRA, DRA assumed the defense of the City.
The case has now been settled at no cost to the City.
A copy of the Dismissal With Prejudice is attached.
