1. Approval of Minutes from meeting of September 11, 2013. Motion by Schilling. Second
by White. Motion carried 2 -0.
2. Set the date for an Appeal Hearing by Troy Kapparos. Motion by Schilling to set the
hearing date at time for November 20, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. All parties agreed to setting
the date despite the Iowa Code requirement of 5/20 days. Second by White. Motion
carried 2 -0.
3. Set the date for a promotional examination for the position of Foreman. Motion by
Schilling to set the application deadline for November 4 at 5:00 p.m. with a test date of
November 19 at 6:00 p.m. Schilling will proctor. Second by White. Motion carried 2 -0.
4. Establish the passing score for the position of Records Supervisor (September 20 test
date). Motion by Schilling to set the passing score at 52 and above correct answers
(65 %) and certify the list for two (2) years. Second by White. Motion carried 2 -0.
5. Adjournment: Motion by Schilling to adjourn at 9:23 a.m. Second by White. Motion
carried 2 -0.
