INTRODUCTION: The purpose of this memo is to request that you sign the three
copies of Change Order #1.
DISCUSSION: Change Order #1 covers additional floor demolition and
preparation. The old the floor did not easily separate from the existing subfloor.
Damage to the existing gypcrete subfloor requires that we remove and replace it
with a new layer of gypcrete.
Because gypcrete requires 12 days to harden/set up, an extension 17 days has
been requested to the completion date. An additional four days is needed to
remove the rest of the old gypcrete. This allows for a new completion date of
January 22, 2007.
RECOMMENDATION: (recommend that the three copies of Change Order #1
be signed and returned to me for processing.
