Narrative Description: This is a two-story frame gable front single-family residence. The house fronts northwest onto East 22od Street and is located four houses east of the intersection of that street with Kniest Street. The core plan is shorter, 27 feet and six inches in length and 22 feet in width. A hip roof front porch is 16 feet in width and six feet deep. The porch is slightly narrower than the core plan. A square-cut west side bay window measures nine feet in length and two feet in depth. There are two rear additions, both of which are placed successively at the southeast rear corner. Each is 13 feet wide and 17 feet six inches and eight feet in depth, successively. Two west side extensions are aligned with these two rear units. The northenrnmost, an enclosed porch, measures 17 feet six inches in length and four feet in width. The entry stoop in the southwest corner measures five feet in depth and three feet in width. The house has hardwood floors. The porch is a later addition, having a brick base, brick square columns at each corner and a rusticated concrete block foundation. Windows are 8/1 double hung lights.
