MECHANICAL BOARD

Meeting was called to order at 3:08 P.M. by Chairman Tom Giese, and
announced that it was being conducted in accordance with the Iowa Open
Meetings Law.
Order of business was as follows:
Motion made by Kelly to dispense with reading of minutes of last meeting and
accept as written. Seconded by Geisler. Motion passed.
The board reviewed and approved an application for Certificate of Registration
and Certificate of Competency for Allen Schumacher, doing business as Janco's
Plumbing and Boiler Service Ltd. He was given No. 179 and No. 766.
Staff handed out 2006 International Mechanical Code books to Kelly, Geisler,
Giese and Willenborg. Also changes to IRC mechanical and gas sections.
Board discussed significant changes to IRC. Secretary advised board members
to look at 2006 IMC.
Kelly motioned to adjourn, seconded by Geisler. Meeting adjo ed at 3:58 P.M.
