tive
Mayor Buol read the call
and stated this is a special
session of the City Council
called for the purpose of
discussing legislative is-
sues.
The City Council, County
Board of Supervisors, Du-
buque Community School
Board Members, and Holy
Family Catholic School
System met wtth area leg-
islators to discuss issues
of concern for the upcom-
ing legislative session.
Senators Mike Connolly,
Roger Stewart, and Tom
Hancock along with Rep-
resentatives Pat Murphy,
Pam Jochum, and Thomas
Schueller, commented on
what they thought ,would
be concentrated on in the
next , legislative session,
They stated the primary is-
sues would likely be in-
creasing the minimurr
wage and property tax re•
form.
There being no further
business, upon motior
meeting adjourned at 8:0:
