SUBJECT: Eagle Point Concrete Replacement Project
Attached is the second change order for the Eagle Point Park Concrete Replacement
Project. I had sent a previous memo explaining the need for the first three items. We
discovered the 4" x 6" support around the entire Riverfront Pavilion to be rotted and in
need of replacement.
The last item powder coats the new railing and will reduce maintenance in the long run.
The first change order at the Shiras Memorial pavilion was $2,983.53 so change orders
total $31,452.75. There was an $18,300 contingency and there was $1,861 in added
design fees that reduces the contingency to $16,439. This means the project is
$15,013.75 over budget and I recommend funds be taken from Eagle Point Stone Work
to cover this overrun.
