The U.S. Bank property is located at the intersection of Wacker Drive and John F. Kennedy Road, common address 435 John F. Kennedy Road. DISCUSSION The proposed right -of -way acquisition is for the construction of underground electric, fiber optic cable, traffic signals and other appurtenant improvements associated with the JFK & Wacker Drive Intersection Improvements Traffic Signalization project. The property to be acquired from U.S. National Bank Association is located along the south side of the intersection of Wacker Drive and John F. Kennedy Road on the U.S. Bank business property at 435 John F. Kennedy Road. This project is tentatively scheduled for construction in the Fall of 2014. Enclosed is a Quit Claim Deed for the parcel needed for the traffic signalization project, and to provide necessary grading for the installation of sidewalks. Included is the following Quit Claim Deed: Owner U.S. National Bank Association RECOMMENDATION Legal Description Lot A of Hawkeye Stock Farm in the City of Dubuque, Iowa The Quit Claim Deed should be accepted by the City Council. I would recommend adoption of the enclosed resolution accepting the deed.
