Council met in special session at 5:00 p.m. at City Hall in Conference Room B
Present: Council Members Buol, Cline, Markham, Michalski, Nicholson, City Manager Michael
Van Milligen, Corporation Counsel Barry Lindahl
Absent: Mayor Duggan, Council Member Robbins
Council Member Michalski read the call and stated this is a special session of the City Council
called for the purpose of discussing the acceptance of a donation of certain real estate in
Dubuque County, Iowa from Wayne A. Briggs and Tracey L. Briggs.
City Manager recommending acceptance of a deed to certain real estate in Dubuque County,
Iowa from Wayne A. and Tracey L. Briggs, upon motion received and filed. Nicholson moved
adoption of Resolution No. 563-01 Accepting the deed to certain real estate in Dubuque
County, Iowa from Wayne A. Briggs and Tracey L. Briggs; and further moved that this be
subject to approval of legal documents by Corporation Counsel. Seconded by Cline. Motion
carried 5-0.
There being no further business, upon motion meeting adjourned at 5:10 p.m.
