Subject: LACK OF SIDEWALKS ON JFK
Ladies and Gentlemen:
My name is Beverly McCarthy and I reside at 3038 Huntington Drive. I travel on JFK on a daily basis. I have often
talked to my husband about the lack of sidewalks on JFK. Tonight I was driving home and I almost hit a woman
walking on JFK just south of Raven Oaks where there are no sidewalks. She was walking in the street because of
no sidewalks and a large pile of snow in the gutters. She was also dressed in dark clothing. I had my car under
control and God was with me as I was able to avoid hitting her. I would like to know why the city doesn't make the
property owners on JFK put in sidewalks. In all the subdivisions in the city the owners are forced to put in a
sidewalk or the city will put one in and charge for it. I would like you to check this out and send me a reply at your
