Present: Commissioners Dan White and Betty Takes
Also present: Randy Peck, Morgan Eitter, Kevin Esser, Kevin Cornwell, Wayne Dow, Steve Fehsal,
Jonathan Brown, Mark Burkle, Larry Ewert, Bob Rehfeldt
1. Approval of Minutes from meeting of February 26, 2014. Motion by White. Second by Takes.
Motion carried 2-0.
2. Set the passing score for the position of Fire Chief. Motion by Takes, Second by White to set the
passing score at 72 (72%) and above answers. Motion by Takes to accept and record remote
candidate scores and certify the list for Fire Chief as read for one year. Second by White. Motion
carried 2-0.
3. Schedule an entrance examination for the position of Bus Operator. Motion by White to set as
recommended. Second by Takes. Testing will take place on August 19, 2014 with an application
deadline of August 8, 2014 at 5 p.m. Motion carried 2-0.
4. Schedule a promotional examination for the position of Horticulturist. Motion by Takes authorizing
Personnel Director Randy Peck to set the date for submission of applications and test date
following development of the exam. Second by White. Motion carried 2-0.
5. Schedule a promotional examination for the position of Lead Mechanic. Motion by White to set as
recommended. Second by Takes. Testing will take place April 30, 2014 with an application
deadline of April 23, 2014 at 5 p.m. Motion carried 2-0.
6. Set the passing score for the position of Equipment Mechanic (April 1, 2014 test date). Motion by
Takes, Second by White to set the passing score at 63 (63%) and above answers and certify the
list for Equipment Mechanic as read for two years. Motion carried 2-0.
7. Motion by Takes to adjourn at 3:39 p.m. Second by White. Motion carried 2-0.
