Dear Members of the Dubuque City Council:
Because I am likely to be absent from the May, 2014 meeting of the Long Range
Planning Advisory Commission and my current term of appointment ends in July of this
year, I think it advisable to resign from this Commission as of this date, 17 April, 2014.
This action will afford City staff to move expeditiously in searching for a replacement
person.
I would like to express to each of you my gratitude for the opportunity to serve on the
Long Range Planning Advisory Commission. I also wish to express to you my very great
pleasure in having had the opportunity to work with Laura Carstens, David Johnson and
Eric Van Buskirk. Under Laura's leadership this cluster of delightful people forms an
impressive, able team of Planning professionals.
