Vehicle Damage
This is a claim in which the claimants allege that the side mirror of claimants' parked
vehicle was struck and damaged by a City of Dubuque fire truck.
According to the report of Fire Chief Dan Brown, the Fire Department Ladder Truck
L-511 while negotiating the corner on Locust Street near 16th Street, struck the
Fortier/Finney vehicle breaking the mirror on the driver's side.
It is therefore the recommendation of Dan Brown to approve this claim for the amount of
the submitted estimate of $241.70. The City Attorney's Office concurs with this
recommendation.

SUBJECT: FinneylFortier Car Damage
On February 13, 2007 the Fire Department Ladder Truck L-511 while negotiating a
corner struck the Finney/Fortier vehicle breaking the mirror on the driver's side. The
damage estimate for repair is $241.70.
This claim is responsible and I recommend payment for the amount claimed of $241.70.
