This letter is to provide you notification the City of Asbury has received voluntary annexation
applications from Karen Cogan, Stanley and Lou Ann Kay Ward, Donald and Luella Cogan,
Wayne G. Siebert, and consideration for annexing adjoining City Right of Way. The City of
Asbury Planning and Zoning Commission has set a date for public hearing on the annexation on
Tuesday, March 20 at 5:35 p.m. at the Asbury Fire Station, located at 5485 Saratoga Road. The
City of Asbury City Council has set a date for public hearing on this matter on Tuesday, March
26, at 7:05 p.m. at the Asbury Fire Station, located at 5485 Saratoga Road.
The annexation is for the following properties as identified by their legal descriptions. The
attached map references the parcels numbered j, k, 1, m.
1. Lot 2-6-1 of Section 19 T89N R2E in Dubuque County, Iowa. (Karen Cogan)

This notice advises you of your opportunity to comment. Any interested individuals are
encouraged to participate in these meetings by either submitting written comments to the Asbury
City Administrator prior to the meeting by sending them to City of Asbury, 5080 Asbury Road,
Asbury, IA 52002, or by submitting oral or written comments at the time of the meetings.
After the respective meetings the Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council may
vote to approve the voluntary annexation of the above referenced territory.
