The City of Dubuque recognizes the need for additional funding for the Iowa Department of Transportation as detailed in their recent departmental review. The State of Iowa, the City of Dubuque and Dubuque County have pressing transportation needs, the most obvious of which is the construction of IA32-Southwest Arterial. We urge you to support the creation of the TIME-21 fund with the 20% distribution for cities and the 20% distribution to counties. Transportation infrastructure is the most significant component of a healthy, growing economy. The City of Dubuque fully supports the development of TIME 21 and has already sent letters of support to our legislators. Sincerely, ~Ki~~ `t:'vl , Michael C.
