Through the competitive quotation process for public improvements, the 2014
Pavement Marking Project was awarded on May 16, 2014, to Selco, Inc., in the amount
of $80,340.68.
City Engineer Gus Psihoyos recommends that the award for the 2014 Pavement
Marking Project be officially recorded in the minutes of the City Council.
I concur with the recommendation and respectfully request Mayor and City Council
approval.

The 2014 Pavement Marking Project includes Painting of the centerlines, lane lines, and
edge lines, as well as transverse markings including arrows, crosswalks, and other
associated symbols, markings, and curb markings on City owned streets.
The following is a summary of the bids received:
SELCO, Inc. $80,340.68
Through the competitive quotation process for public improvements, this project was
awarded on May 16, 2014 to SELCO, Inc. of Dubuque, Iowa, in the amount of
$80,340.68.
In accordance with the competitive quotation requirements of Iowa Code, Section 26.14,
it is necessary that the award for the 2014 Pavement Marking Project to be officially
recorded in the minutes of the City Council.
