Both areas are being used as detention basins. BACKGROUND The final plat of Pebble Cove Subdivision dedicated streets (Lots C and D), a park lot (Lot A), and a stormwater detention lot (Lot B). The resolution approving the plat and plans included the acceptance of all dedicated lots except for Lot B. The final plat of Pebble Cove Subdivision No. 2 dedicated the street (Lots C), a park lot (Lot B), and a stormwater detention lot (Lot A). The resolution approving the plat and plans included the acceptance of all dedicated lots except for Lot A. DISCUSSION The approval resolutions should have included the acceptance of said detention basin lots as no other means for conveyance of the lots was established. The dedication of Lot B of Pebble Cove Subdivision and Lot A of Pebble Cove Subdivision No. 2 should be accepted by resolution to formally transfer title to the City of Dubuque. The detention basin facilities themselves are not being accepted or approved at this time. RECOMMENDATION I would, therefore, recommend that the City Council accept the dedication of Lot B of Pebble Cove Subdivision and Lot A of Pebble Cove Subdivision No. 2. 1 ACTION TO BE TAKEN The City Council is requested to adopt the attached resolution accepting the dedication of Lot B of Pebble Cove Subdivision and Lot A of Pebble Cove Subdivision No. 2.
