RE: Resolution for 2030 Future Land Use Map of the Comprehensive Plan
This memo transmits a resolution adopting the enclosed 2030 Future Land Use Map
approved by the City Council after a public hearing on April 2, 2007.
In reviewing Chapter 36 (Planning; Zoning) of the City Code, the Comprehensive Plan is to
be approved by City Council resolution. City Attorney Barry Lindahl indicates that this
approval process should extend to amendments or updates of all or part of the
Comprehensive Plan -- including the Future Land Use Map.
I recommend that the City Council approve the enclosed resolution adopting the 2030
Future Land Use Map in accordance with City Code.

RESOLUTION NO. 206-07
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2030 FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE
CITY OF DUBUQUE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN.
Whereas, the Long Range Planning Advisory Commission has recommended
adoption of the 2030 Future Land Use Map of the City of Dubuque Comprehensive
Plan; and
Whereas, City Council has adopted the 2030 Future Land Use Map of the City of
Dubuque Comprehensive Plan after a public hearing.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF DUBUQUE, IOWA:
Section 1. The City Council hereby does approve the 2030 Future Land Use
Map of the. City of Dubuque Comprehensive Plana
Passed, approved and adopted this 16th day of April, 2007.
