the RFP. Staff will synthesize the suggestions shared by the
commissioners and will be brought back for further discussion at the
direction of Economic Development Director, Maurice Jones. The
Commission requested that Jones contact commissioners to communicate
the next steps in the process.
ITEMS FROM COMMISSION
Kluseman shared that she and Riedel attended the Community conversation with
the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs on Tuesday, July 15th at the Mississippi
River Museum. The discussion centered on the future of arts, history, and culture
in Iowa in conjunction with revitalization plans being developed for the State
Historical Building in Iowa. Citizens interested in sharing their ideas are
encouraged answer questions at the following website:
