Through the competitive quotation process for public improvements, the 2014 Access
Ramp Installation Project -Phase 3 was awarded on August 25, 2014, to Midwest
Concrete, Inc., in the amount of $54,415.
City Engineer Gus Psihoyos recommends that the award for the 2014 Access Ramp
Installation Project -Phase 3 be officially recorded in the minutes of the City Council.
I concur with the recommendation and respectfully request Mayor and City Council
approval.

The 2014 Access Ramp Installation Project — Phase 3 includes reconstruction of access
curb ramps in conjunction with City of Dubuque Public Works Department asphalt
overlay program.
The following is a summary of the bids received:
Midwest Concrete, Inc. $54,415.00
Through the competitive quotation process for public improvements, this project was
awarded on August 25, 2014 to Midwest Concrete, Inc. of Peosta, Iowa, in the amount
of $54,415.00.
In accordance with the competitive quotation requirements of Iowa Code, Section 26.14,
it is necessary that the award for the 2014 Access Ramp Installation Project — Phase 3
to be officially recorded in the minutes of the City Council.
