Present: Commissioners Dan White, Betty Takes, Mary Lynn Neuhaus
Also present: Randy Peck, Steve Fehsal, and John Klosterman
1. Approval of Minutes from meetings of June 12, 2014 and June 26, 2014. Motion by White to
approve as presented. Second by Takes. Motion carried 2-0 with Neuhaus abstaining.
2. Schedule an entrance exam for the position of Lead Mechanic. Motion by Takes to set as
recommended. Second by Neuhaus. Testing will take place August 27, 2014 with an application
deadline of August 15, 2014 at 5 p.m. Commissioner Neuhaus to proctor. Motion carried 3-0.
3. Schedule an entrance examination for the position of Transit Dispatcher/Scheduler. Motion by
Takes authorizing Personnel Director Randy Peck to set the date for submission of applications
and test date. Second by Neuhaus. Motion carried 3-0.
4. Establish the passing score for the position of Stock Clerk (June 17, 2014 exam date). Motion by
Neuhaus, Second by Takes to set a passing score of 59 (68.6%) and above correct answers and
certify the list for Stock Clerk as read for two years. Motion carried 3-0.
5. Establish the passing score for the position of Truck Driver (July 1, 2014 exam date). Motion by
White, Second by Takes to set a passing score of 65 (66.3%) and above correct answers and
certify the list for Truck Driver as read for two years. Motion carried 3-0.
5. Establish the passing score for the position of Maintenance Worker (July 9, 2014 exam date).
Motion by White, Second by Takes to set a passing score of 73 (78.5%) and above correct
answers and certify the list for Maintenance Worker as read for two years. Motion carried 3-0.
6. Establishing the passing score for the position of Assistant Horticulturist (July 16, 2014 exam
date). Motion by Neuhaus, Second by Takes to set a passing score of 59 (62.8%) and above
correct answers and certify the list for Assistant Horticulturist as read for two years. Motion carried
3-0.
7. Motion by White to adjourn at 8:59 a.m. Second by Takes. Motion carried 3-0.
