Starting in elementary school I participated in Audubon/Loras leadership from kindergarten to sixth grade, I also received the American Legion Award in sixth grade. During Jr. High I was an ambassador at Jefferson Jr. High school and also involved in leadership. I am currently attending Hempstead High School and some of the clubs I have been in include: Leadership 101 class, Leadership Club, Key Club, head chair of the Senior Senate, manager of the men's varsity basketball, and was a co-captain of the JV women's soccer team. I was also a member of the HERDS of the Red Cross where we did many volunteer projects throughout the Tri-States. I also have been a companion at the Archdiocese of Dubuque retreat for the disabled adults. During the school year I work through Leisure Services at Prescott's after school program and during the summer I work at Sutton Pool as a cashier and swim instructor. What contributions can you make or state reason of applying. I feel that I would be able to bring the voice of the teenagers of the Tri-States to the committee.
