City Engineer Gus Psihoyos is recommending approval of the plans, specifications,
form of contract and the estimated cost of $206,781.96 for the 2007 Sewer Cured-in-
Place Pipe (CIPP) Lining Project.
I concur with the recommendation and respectfully request Mayor and City Council
approval.

INTRODUCTION
The enclosed resolution is in reference to the public hearing on the 2007 Sewer CIPP
Lining Project.

RECOMMENDATION
I recommend that the City Council approve the plans, specifications, form of contract
and the estimated cost for the 2007 Sewer CIPP Lining Project.
BUDGET IMPACT
The cost estimate for the 2007 Sewer CIPP Lining Project is:

Total Project Cost $206,781.96
The project will be funded by the annual CIP Sanitary Sewer Lining Program that has a
current balance of $124,647.77.00; the Fiscal Year 2008 Washington Street Sanitary
Between 10t" and 11t" Streets appropriation in the amount of $65,500; and the Fiscal
Year 2008 Pierce Street Storm Sewer appropriation in the amount of $57,000.
ACTION TO BE TAKEN
The City Council is requested to approve the plans, specifications, form of contract and
the estimated cost through the adoption of the enclosed resolution.

APPROVAL OF PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, AND
ESTIMATED COST FOR THE 2007 SEWER CIPP LINING PROJECT
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF DUBUQUE, IOWA:
That the proposed plans, specifications, form of contract and estimated cost for
the 2007 Sewer CIPP Lining Project, in the estimated amount $206,781.96, are hereby
approved.
