Through the competitive quotation process for public improvements, the 2014 Access
Ramp Installation Project-Phase Four was awarded on October 10, 2014, to Midwest
Concrete, Inc., in the amount of $54,214.
City Engineer Gus Psihoyos recommends that the award for the 2014 Access Ramp
Installation Project-Phase Four be officially recorded in the minutes of the City Council.
I concur with the recommendation and respectfully request Mayor and City Council
approval.

The 2014 Access Ramp Installation Project -- Phase Four includes reconstruction of
access curb ramps in conjunction with City of Dubuque Public Works Department
asphalt overlay program.
The following is a summary of the bids received:
Midwest Concrete, Inc. $54,214.00
Through the competitive quotation process for public improvements, this project was
awarded on October 10, 2014. to Midwest Concrete, Inc. of Peosta, Iowa, in the amount
of $54,214.00
In accordance with the competitive quotation requirements of Iowa Code, Section 26.14,
it is necessary that the award for the 2014. Access Ramp Installation Project-- Phase
Four to be officially recorded in the minutes of the City Council.
