Present: Commissioners Mary Lynn Neuhaus, Betty Takes,
Also present: Randy Peck, Mark Dalsing, Abby Simon, Kevin Klein, and Jodi Johnson
1 . Approval of Minutes from meeting of September 22, 2014. Motion by Neuhaus to approve as
submitted. Second by Takes. Motion carried 2-0.
2. Schedule a promotional examination for the position of Police Department Corporal. Motion by
Takes, Second by Neuhaus to set the test date and preset the test score at 60% as
recommended. Testing will take place on January 21 , 2015 at 6:00 p.m. in the Dubuque Law
Enforcement Center. Motion carried 2-0.
3. Establish the passing score for the position of Transit Dispatcher/Scheduler. Testing for this
positon took place on September 25, 2014. Motion by Takes, Second by Neuhaus to set a
passing score of 52 (71 .2%) and above correct answers and certify the list for Transit
Dispatcher/Scheduler as read for two years. Motion carried 2-0.
4. Recertify the list for the position of Bus Operator to add internal candidate. Motion by Takes,
Second by Neuhaus to add the internal candidate for the position of Bus Operator and recertify
the list as of October 23, 2014. Motion carried 2-0.
5. Motion by Takes to adjourn at 1 :49 p.m. Second by Neuhaus. Motion carried 2-0.
