Vehicle Damage
This is a claim in which the claimant states that his tire and vehicle were damaged when
he hit a large chunk of concrete that was in the middle of Dodge Street.
According to the report of Bob Green, Water Plant Manager, there had been a water main
break at McCormick and Grace Streets the day of the incident. City department dump
trucks had been transporting a load of broken concrete from the water main break site to
Molo for dumping. Some concrete accidentally fell from the dump truck while in transit. It
is Mr. Green's recommendation that the claim be approved for payment of $629.04. The
Legal Department concurs with this recommendation.
