Subject: Five Flags Commission
Kevin,
I regret to inform you that I have chosen to resign from the Five Flags Civic Center Commission. I have enjoyed the
challenge of serving for the past six years. Five Flags has undergone major changes during my terms on the commission
and I am proud to have been involved in the decision making process that resulted in these changes. I believe SMG is
doing an excellent job of managing the civic center and bringing in top quality shows and events to Five Flags. Since
SMG has taken over the management, I believe the decision making process of the commission has been diminished. I
do not believe that this is a bad thing, but reflects highly on the management skills of the SMG staff. In the past year , it
has become increasingly difficult for me to attend the meetings due to work and other commitments and therefore have
decided that it would be best to allow someone else to take my place.
I would to thank all the people that I have served with on the commission and the staff of Five Flags both past and present
for a challenging and enjoyable experience.
