Kevin,
As my seat on the Five Flags Commission was up for renewal this past June, I decided not to seek reappointment. I have
enjoyed my years on the Commission (12 or 15- I can't even remember!). I believe Five Flags is a true community civic
center that has been and will continue to be enjoyed by many. I think it is in good position with the management of Joyce
White and the backing of her management firm, SMG, the largest facility management firm in the US. I think fresh faces
on any board always breath new life and perspective into an organization. That is why I am hopeful a newly interested
person will fill my old seat, and is also the reason I am running for school board this fall.
