Safe Routes to School Plan
Dear Chandra:
The City of Dubuque has maintained an extensive and beneficial partnership with
the Dubuque Community School District for many years. We are pleased to
continue this partnership with our support of the intent to create a Dubuque
Community Schools Safe Routes to School Plan.
The City of Dubuque's Engineering and Planning Services Departments will
continue to participate on the Safe Routes to Schools planning committee that
ECIA is coordinating. As the Safe Routes to School Plan proceeds, there may
be opportunities for other City departments to participate in the plan or in
implementation of its components.
Please accept this letter as evidence of the City of Dubuque's support for the
Dubuque Community Schools Safe Routes to School Plan.
