Community Appreciation Day Proclamation
PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, the City of Dubuque hosted the 2007 Iowa League of Cities Annual
Conference during the week of September 26-28, 2007; and
WHEREAS, the City of Dubuque put its best foot forward through months of
preparation and project planning; and
WHEREASCity employees, local contractors and business put forth
,
extraordinary effort by completing many area enhancements that
include the Historic Federal Building renovation, downtown sidewalk
improvements, City Hall remodeling and parking lot redesign, street
light painting, gateway projects, and landscape plantings;
NOW THEREFORE, I, ROY D. BUOL, MAYOR OF THE CITY OF DUBUQUE, IOWA,
ON BEHALF OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF DUBUQUE, DO HEREBY PROCLAIM THE

“COMMUNITY APPRECIATION DAY”
IN THE CITY OF DUBUQUE, IOWA, IN RECOGNITION OF THE CONTINUOUS CIVIC
