Present Mahe Memor bers Council Braig, Connors, Jones, Lynch, Resnick, Sutton; City Manager Michael Van Milhgen Mayor Buol read the call and stated this is a special session of the City Council called for the purpose of dis- cussing various City departmental Fiscal Year 2016 budgets. ITEMS TO BE SET FOR PUBLIC HEARING Motion by Connors to receive and file the documents, adopt the resolutions, set the public hearings sdirecs indicated, and t the City Clerk to publish notice as prescribed by law. Fiscal Year 2016 Recommended Budget: City Manager recom- mending that the City Council set a public hearing for March 12, 2015, on the Fiscal Year 2016 City budget, Operating and Capital Improvement Program for the City of Dubuque. Upon motion the documents were re- ceived and filed and Resolution No. 55-15 Setting the date for the public hearing on the Fiscal Year 2016 Bud- get as amended for the City of Dubuque; Resolution No. 56-15 Setting the date for the public hearing on the Five -Year Capital Im- provement Program for Fiscal Years 2016 through 2020 for the City of Dubuque. FISCAL YEAR 2016 DEPARTMENTAL BUDGET REVIEW Fiscal Year 2016 City departmental budgets were presented by staff from the follow- ing departments Motion carried 7-0. - ParK uivision: Leisure Service Manager Marie Ware and Steve Fehsal Park Division Manager. City Council discussed budget and staffing constraints.
