Special Meeting Minutes of March 4, 2015
The Board of Trustees of the Carnegie-Stout Public Library (C-SPL) met at Subway,
2200 John F. Kennedy Road, #102, Dubuque, Iowa 52002 at 12:00 p.m. on
Wednesday, March 4, 2015,
Present., President Mike Willis; Trustee Paula Connors; Trustee Patty
Poggemiller; Trustee Jon Trotter, and Director Susan Henricks
Excused: Vice President Jenny Weiss and Secretary Dan Boice
1. President Mike Willis called the meeting to order at 12:08 p.m.
"Moved to go into dosed session in accordance with Iowa Code, Chapter
21.5(1) (j): To discuss the purchase of particular real estate only where
premature disclosure could be reasonably expected to increase the price the
governmental body would have to pay for that property. "

Willis called for a roll call vote.

Poggemiller—Aye
Motion passed with all(4) 'Aye"votes.
The Library Board moved into closed session at 12:10 p.m.
The Library Board moved into open session at 1:03 p.m.
"Moved to go into open session of the Library Board."

Vote: Aye — 4; Nay— 0
Henricks reported that at the direction of the Board, she will meet with Selser Schafer
Architects to receive their recommendation regarding possible satellite or branch library
locations and to understand costs to remodel existing facilities that were reviewed.
Henricks will then call a meeting of the Operations Committee to review this
information.
2. Library Board Adjournment - The Board adjourned at 1:05 p.m.
