Through the competitive quotation process for public improvements, the 2015 Access
Ramp Installation Project — Project Two was awarded on May 26, 2015, to Midwest
Concrete, Inc. in the amount of $68,697.40.
City Engineer Gus Psihoyos recommends that the award for the 2015 Access Ramp
Installation Project — Project Two be officially recorded in the minutes of the City
Council.
I concur with the recommendation and respectfully request Mayor and City Council
approval.

The 2015 Access Ramp Installation Project — Project Two includes reconstruction of
access curb ramps in conjunction with City of Dubuque Public Works Department
asphalt overlay program.
The following is a summary of the bids received:
Midwest Concrete, Inc. $ 68,697.40
Through the competitive quotation process for public improvements, this project was
awarded on May 26, 2015 to Midwest Concrete, Inc. of Peosta, Iowa, in the amount of
$68,697.40.
In accordance with the competitive quotation requirements of Iowa Code, Section 26.14,
it is necessary that the award for the 2015 Access Ramp Installation Project — Project
Two to be officially recorded in the minutes of the City Council.
