Through the competitive quotation process for public improvements, the 2015
Pavement Marking Project was awarded on July 2, 2015, to SELCO, Inc., in the amount
of$71,887.81.
City Engineer Gus Psihoyos recommends that the award for the 2015 Pavement
Marking Project be officially recorded in the minutes of the City Council.
I concur with the recommendation and respectfully request Mayor and City Council
approval.

SUBJECT: 2015 Pavement Marking Project
The 2015 Pavement Marking Project entails installation and removal of permanent
pavement markings to include Centerline, Crosswalk, Edge and Solid Lane Lines. It will
also include Symbols and Legends on recently completed Asphalt Overlay Projects.
The following is a summary of the bids received:
SELCO, Inc. $71,887.81
Through the competitive quotation process for public improvements, this project was
awarded on July 2, 2015 to SELCO, Inc. of Dubuque, Iowa, in the amount of
$71,887.81.
In accordance with the competitive quotation requirements of Iowa Code, Section 26.14,
it is necessary that the award for the 2015 Pavement Marking Project to be officially
recorded in the minutes of the City Council.
