Through the competitive quotation requirements for public improvements, the Miller
Riverview Park— Concrete Pads Project was awarded on August 27, 2015, to Midwest
Concrete, Inc., in the amount of $37,113.
Assistant City Engineer Bob Schiesl recommends that the award for the Miller Riverview
Park — Concrete Pads Project be officially recorded in the minutes of the City Council.
I concur with the recommendation and respectfully request Mayor and City Council
approval.

The Miller Riverview Park — Concrete Pads Project includes construction of six 12 x 40
foot concrete ADA compliant camping site pads for camping trailers.
The following is a summary of the bids received:
Midwest Concrete, Inc. $ 37,113.00
Eastern Iowa Excavating & Concrete, LLC $ 48,256.68
Central States Concrete, LLC $ 47,657.95
Through the competitive quotation process for public improvements, this project was
awarded on August 27, 2015 to Midwest Concrete, Inc. of Peosta, Iowa, in the amount
of$37,113.00.
The project will be funded from the FYI CIP 3502362, Miller Riverview Pavement with
a carry over budget of$45,000.00.
