Approve Minutes of December 18, 2001
Commissioner Kluesner moved to approve the minutes of December 18, 2001.
Seconded by Duehr, passed unanimously.
Request to Schedule Entrance Examination for the Position of Engineering
Assistant I
Personnel Manager Randy Peck made the recommendation that the test be a "take-
home" test with a focus on experience and background and explained the difficulty the
City has had in the past obtaining qualified candidates. Commission Kluesner moved
that the entrance examination for the position of Engineering Assistant I be a "take-
home" test as recommended and that the application deadline request date be
established as 5:00 p.m., January 16, 2002 or 5:00 p.m., January 23, 2002, depending
on when ads are placed, with a return deadline of midnight on January 31, 2002 or
February 7, 2002. Seconded by Duehr, passed unanimously.
Establish Passing Point/Certify List for Stock Clerk
Commissioner Kluesner moved to establish the passing point at 63 and above correct
answers (73.3%) and that the list as read be certified for two years. Seconded by
Duehr, passed unanimously.
Equipment Operator II - Add Scott L. Pape and Troy J, Kapparos to Certified List
Commissioner Kluesner moved to add Scott L. Pape and Troy J. Kapparos to the
certified list for the position of Equipment Operator II as requested by those individuals.
Seconded by Duehr, passed unanimously.
Hearing on Appeal of Terry Shaffer
This item was removed from the agenda at the request of Terry Shaffer.
There being no further business, upon motion the meeting adjourned at 3:14 p.m.
